Pinnacle Middle School is excited to announce that we have received a grant from Amazon to bring STEM education to our 6th, 7th & 8th grade students! This partnership will greatly increase our students’ access to computer science education, and allow our teachers the access they need to materials that will help educate our students in specific fields within science, technology, engineering and math.
Pinnacle Middle School teachers will receive curriculum in the following areas:
- CS Explorations 1: Fundamentals in Scratch
- Computer Science Fundamentals
This content also includes fully sequenced and paced digital curriculum for students,
and professional development for educators new to learning or teaching computer science.
Our students will receive some of these courses in the 2021-22 school year for two quarters.
