The Metro State University Excel Program was designed specifically to provide high school seniors with guidance and direction to achieve their higher education goals, as well as make connections with other high school students who will attend Metro State. The Pinnacle partnered with MSU to help our Timberwolves achieve their dreams of college, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see three of our very own receive scholarships to Metro State for the 2020-21 school year. A big congratulations to Dylan Carter, Johnathan Meza and Saul Rodriguez for receiving this honor. Carter will be pursuing a degree in music, Meza is looking at Business Finance, and Rodriguez hopes to pursue a career in nursing.
The MSU Excel program will also help support our students as they begin their college careers. If any high school students are interested in learning more about how to participate, click here (https://www.msudenver.edu/excel/), or reach out to Violeta Apodaca on the Pinnacle High School counseling team. Thank you to Metro State for their involvement with our Pinnacle High School seniors, and congratulations again to our three future Roadrunners.
