Overview of Visual Arts at Pinnacle High School

The Pinnacle High School arts program is among the best in the state, offering courses in drawing, painting, photography, ceramics, studio art, and advanced art. Students develop foundational skills, refine techniques, and create professional-quality work by their final year.  
Beyond the classroom, students gain inspiration from museum visits, exhibitions, and college recruiter presentations on careers in the arts.  
Our students' artwork has earned recognition from Scholastic Art Exhibition, the Colorado Department of Education, and CSI magazine. Starting in 2019-2020, select courses will prepare students for careers in fields like graphic design, animation, architecture, web design, and art therapy.

The Memory Project 2025

Each year, our students participate in a meaningful global art initiative called The Memory Project, which connects young artists with children living in orphanages and challenging circumstances around the world. Through this program, our students create heartfelt, hand-drawn portraits that serve as lasting keepsakes for the children who receive them

This year, our talented senior class has completed their portraits with great care, creativity, and compassion. Their beautiful work is a testament to both their artistic growth and their commitment to making a positive impact beyond the classroom.
