  • Students applying for Kindergarten must be five years old on or before October 1 of the school year they wish to enroll. Students may attend Pinnacle Charter School through 21 years of age in accordance with Colorado law.

Students who are younger than the Kindergarten age requirement may be considered for Early Access through the State of Colorado’s gifted identification process. Early Access is designed for highly advanced gifted students and includes additional evaluation and approval requirements.

Please note that Early Access is separate from the standard enrollment process. Additional information about eligibility, timelines, and application requirements can be found on our Gifted Education Page or view the Official policy for Early Acces for Highly Advanced or Gifted Children here.

  • Pinnacle Charter School is a tuition free public charter school, so there is no cost for students to attend. We also provide free breakfast and lunch, as well as free athletics for students.

Transportation is available for a fee of $175 per student. This fee is waived for families who qualify for free and reduced lunch.

Some optional or situational fees may apply, including field trips or charges related to lost or damaged school property, technology devices, curriculum materials, or other school issued items.

For a complete breakdown of student fees, please view our Student Fee Schedule here.

  • Is Spanish support available during the enrollment process?

Yes. Spanish speaking staff are available to assist families throughout the enrollment process. Many of our written communications and website tools can also be accessed in multiple languages.

What if the grade level is full?

If a grade level is full, students will be placed on a waitlist. Families will receive an email confirmation, and our enrollment team will contact families if a seat becomes available.

What documents will I need for enrollment?

To enroll, families must provide documentation verifying the student's age and identity, such as a birth certificate or passport. Other documents, including immunization records, parent or guardian identification, and custody paperwork (if applicable), may be requested to support the enrollment process and help maintain complete student records. Our team can also assist with copying documents during enrollment appointments.
