When we look around…
We see educators and staff going above and beyond every day to lift up our students. Each time those kiddos walk through our doors, we’re reminded of the importance of education and the purpose behind everything we do.
For our Administrative Assistant, Gabriella Nevarez, that purpose is what inspires her to stay at Pinnacle and make every day a good day. She shares,
"I have been at Pinnacle Charter School for two years. There are several reasons that I choose to stay at Pinnacle. The first reason is the Culture, Pinnacle has an amazing staff culture that makes you feel like part of the team. I feel seen, heard and appreciated which is very rare when you work in education.
Of course this culture leads into the community which is another reason that I love Pinnacle. Our community, staff, students and parents are amazing! We all come together to celebrate at our Raise the Pack Events and the care that everyone has for our school truly shows and makes me proud to be a part of.
This brings me the most important reason I stay at Pinnacle, which is the students. I grew up a few blocks away from Pinnacle and when I see our students, I see myself. I see the struggles and the hardworking and loving students who just want to be seen, heard and loved.
I want to be that person for them, I want them to know that they can come to me and trust me and know that I will always have their best interest at heart. I occasionally receive thank you notes from students and it truly warms my heart because they know that I genuinely care and try to be a good example for them."
