Pinnacle Charter School Student Uniform (2026–2027) Purpose
Purpose
At Pinnacle Charter School, we believe that academic excellence requires focus, unity, and shared standards. The student uniform supports our mission by:
- Keeping attention on learning
- Reducing distractions
- Promoting equity among students
- Strengthening school identity and pride
- Supporting campus safety
- Uniforms are a visible symbol of our commitment to excellence.
General Requirements All students
All students (K–8) are required to wear the approved Pinnacle uniform during the school day unless otherwise designated by administration.
- Students must arrive on campus in uniform.
- Students must remain in uniform throughout the school day.
- Uniform attire is required during detention and field trips unless otherwise approved by administration.
Approved Uniform Attire Tops
- Solid navy, white, or grey polo shirts (short or long sleeve)
- Solid navy, white, or grey button-down shirts
- Solid navy, white, or grey sweaters or sweatshirts (Pinnacle-approved) PCS branded spirit wear
Bottoms
- Khaki, navy, or black pants, shorts, skirts, or skorts
- Bottoms must fit appropriately and meet modesty standards Leggings may not be worn as standalone uniform bottoms.
- Leggings are permitted only when worn underneath approved uniform bottoms such as shorts, skirts, or skorts
Outerwear (Inside the Building)
- Only approved uniform sweaters or sweatshirts may be worn indoors
- Non-uniform coats or jackets must be removed in classrooms
Footwear
- Closed-toe shoes are required (exceptions may be made for approved sandals in appropriate weather).
ID Requirement (Grades 6–12)
- Students in grades 6–12 must wear their school-issued ID badge during the school day.
Dress Down / Theme Days
- Administration may designate approved non-uniform or theme days. All attire must remain modest and appropriate for a school environment.
Enforcement
- Consistency builds culture. Therefore: First violation: Corrective conversation and parent notification Second violation: Lunch detention Repeated violations: Referral for defiance
- Continued noncompliance may result in suspension Final determination rests with school administration.
Waivers
- Requests for religious, medical, or documented hardship exemptions must be submitted in writing to the Chief Academic Officer or Chief Executive Officer of the school.
