Transportation Code of Conduct
The time on the bus is considered an extension of the school day. All rules in the school will also be applied to the bus.
Impeding students and faculty is unlawful. It is a class 3 misdemeanor for a person, through the use of force or violence, coercion or intimidation to disrupt students, faculty or admin in education activities. In 1996, the Governor of Colorado signed a law which allows anyone who assaults a passenger or driver of a school bus to be charged with a Class 3 felony.
Please arrive at the bus stop 5 MINUTES before pick up time.
ALL STOPS WILL BE MADE no matter how late the bus is running due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
All items must fit inside student’s backpacks including all athletic balls or equipment.
NO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO RIDE A K-8 BUS

Bus Behavior 2023-2024
The bus driver is in full charge of the bus and its passengers. Students must obey the instructions of the driver without argument. If your student does the following they will be subject to a referral and possible suspension.
Major bus infractions (minimum 1 day / 3 day / 5 day / rest of the school year suspension off the bus)
Fighting / Bullying
Abusive/disrespectful conduct to driver/others
Endangering safe operations
Destruction of property
Throwing objects in/out of bus
Picture or video taking
Vaping or tobacco use
Minor Bus Infractions (minimum warning / Detention / 1 day / 3 day / 5 day / rest of the school year suspension off the bus)
Leaving the seat while the bus is in motion
Excessive noise
Failure to keep arms, head, feet inside bus
Littering on bus
Profanity
Eating, chewing gum or drinking on the bus
Defiance

el tiempo en el autobús se considera una extensión del día escolar. Todas las reglas de la escuela también se aplicarán al autobús.
Obstaculizar a estudiantes y profesores es ilegal. Es un delito menor de clase 3 para una persona, mediante el uso de la fuerza o la violencia, la coerción o la intimidación para interrumpir a los estudiantes, persoano administradores en sus actividades educativas. En 1996, el Gobernador de Colorado firmó una ley que permite que cualquier persona que agreda a los pasajeros o conductores de un autobús escolar sea acusada de un delito grave de Clase 3.
Llegue a la parada de autobús 5 MINUTOS antes de la hora de recogida.
TODAS LAS PARADAS SE REALIZARÁN sin importar qué tan tarde llegue el autobús debido a las inclemencias del tiempo o circunstancias imprevistas.
Todos los artículos deben caber dentro de las mochilas de los estudiantes, incluidas todas las pelotas o equipos deportivos.

Escala de comportamiento del autobús 2023-2024
El conductor del autobús está a cargo total del autobús y sus pasajeros. Los estudiantes deben obedecer las instrucciones del conductor sin discusión. Si su estudiante hace lo siguiente, estará sujeto a una remisión y posible suspensión.
Infracciones mayores en el autobús (mínimo 1 día / 3 días / 5 días / resto del año escolar suspensión del autobús)
Peleas / Intimidación
Conducta abusiva/irrespetuosa hacia el conductor/otros
Poner en peligro las operaciones seguras
Destrucción de propiedad
Tirar objetos dentro/fuera del autobús
Toma de fotografías o videos
Fumar vape o consumo de tabaco
Infracciones menores en el autobús (advertencia mínima/detención/1 día/3 días/5 días/resto del año escolar suspensión del autobús)
Dejar el asiento mientras el autobús está en movimiento
Ruido excesivo
No mantener los brazos, la cabeza y los pies dentro del autobús
Tirar basura en el bus
Vulgaridad
Comer, mascar chicle o beber en el autobús
