Welcome to The Pinnacle Charter Middle School!

At Pinnacle Charter Middle School, students learn and gain experience through real-world application, STEM and Core Curriculum while obtaining skills needed for high school and post-secondary opportunities. We are an AVID school and implement the college and career ready program school-wide. Pinnacle Middle School students participate in technology, robotics, career planning, numerous sports, clubs and visual and performing arts to outline a well-rounded education and a pathway to a balanced successful future. Our students can change the world because the focused foundation starts here!

March 2024 UPDATES

Here are a few announcements for the week:

1. AVID Night with the Avalanche ~ April 9, 2024 7:30pm!

The Colorado Avalanche are partnering with AVID to offer discounted ticket prices to AVID students and their families to celebrate all the hard work they do in AVID! We are AVID School-wide so all middle school students and their families are eligible! Family night is April 9, 2024 at 7:30pm and students and families can come early at 6pm to watch the warmups close to the glass. Tickets are limited so it will be first come, first serve. Please fill out this form and turn in money ($35 per ticket) to either the MS front office or your AVID teacher by Friday, March 15th. Transportation is not provided but we will sit together.

2. Middle School Sports:

We offer the following middle school sports: Football, Boys and Girls Cross Country, Volleyball, Boys and Girls Soccer, Boys and Girls Basketball, Cheerleading, and Track and Field. 3. FREE STEAM Summer Camp 2024 SIGN UPS! June 3rd-June 8th AM, PM or Full Day available! Space is Limited!

STEAM Camp at Pinnacle Charter Middle School for Summer 2024 is here! Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math will be combined for an out of this world experience! HANDS ON FUN by certified teachers! This is a free camp that will operate in June for all interested incoming 6th through 8th grade students. Several Middle School summer programs are being offered June 3rd through 7th from 8am-4pm at Pinnacle Middle School. You can choose full day or a half day AM/PM. There is no cost if your child is accepted in the program. Two different programs are being offered for interested students. The 2 programs are STEAM Connections (Science, Technology Engineering, Arts and Math) and the other is VEX Robotics. Programs are capped at 100 open spots for STEAM and 25 for VEX and applicants will be selected mid-April and notification will be sent to accepted students. Please fill out this interest form to be considered! Free Breakfast and Lunch will be served for students! Registration will be confirmed on or before April 19th until spots are filled. STEAM CONNECTIONS CAMP: Programs are designed to strengthen students’ math, science and advanced language skills and to increase the number of students who enroll and succeed in advanced classes. These middle school programs provide engaging, real-world STEAM learning opportunities and focus on writing skills. Each program teaches rigorous content using AVID WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization and Reading) strategies such as focused note-taking, interactive notebooks, writing and vocabulary activities, and team building to engage students in STEAM opportunities. The engaging, interactive lessons and collaborative activities also incorporate strategies that provide support for English Language Learners. 100 openings will be available for the week.

VEX Robotics Camp: VEX Robotics is educational robotics for all skill levels and will be available for students entering 6th through 8th grades. VEX solutions span all levels of both formal and informal education with accessible, scalable, and affordable solutions. Beyond science and engineering principles, VEX encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving among groups. This camp engages and inspires the STEM problem solvers of tomorrow! 25 openings available for the week.
